NEW BATMAN TOYS in BRAZIL - McDonalds THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Happy Meal Set ( Mc Lanche Feliz )

Thanks to our good friend Marcio we got some news that, right now in Brazil, they're starting a 2011 BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Happy Meal Toys Promotion at McDonalds ( In Brazil they call it "Mc Lanche Feliz" ). But the cool thing is that the toys are completely different than the ones we just had here in the USA. For Brazil, it looks like they have gone back to the regular-size toy & there are 4 of them to collect: The PENGUIN in his Penguin-Submarine, a PLASTIC MAN Figure, BATMAN in his BAT-COPTER ( or Bat-Gyro! ), and the JOKER'S Jokermobile Car! This week's show is titled "Cry Freedom Fighters!" and it airs Friday, November 12th at 7:30 pm on the Cartoon Network. The Basic Story: When an alien race tries to invade Earth, Batman, Plastic Man and the Freedom Fighters ( led by Uncle Sam ) race to their planet to stop them!

Sean Hartter's Retro-Style SUPERHERO MOVIE Posters

OK, I'm a total loser & don't get to brag much, but I gotta say that I'm really proud of our good buddy Sean Hartter! He's a very talented commercial artist & he recently got some amazing hype on his artwork over at the WEEKLY-CRISIS website. They did a fun story about his fake Retro-Style "Superhero Movie" Posters & Lobby Cards. Basically, he creates new images that look like old vintage advertising for movies that were never made ( but you WISH they had made, ha! ). As an example I'm showing one for THE JOKER with Tim Curry as the lead character. New BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Happy Meal Toys at McDonalds!!

Finally! Today, McDonalds released a photo of what the new BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Happy Meal Toys for the US market are gonna look like ( click on the pic up above for a larger version )!! There will be 8 toys to collect. Basically it's 6 figures & 2 vehicles. The figures include: Batman, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Blue Beetle, Plastic Man, & The Joker. The other ones are the Batmobile Car & Black Manta's Robot Ship. Plus, here's some added cool news. Each toy will be imprinted with a special code number that you can use to log-in at the McDonald's website to unlock a "Virtual Batmobile"!! Last night I went to McDonalds & asked then about this new set of toys & they said it would still be another week or two until they release them...So, what do you think about them?! BATMAN ANIMATION - Free Desktop Wallpaper Backgrounds

Hey Kids, BATMAN Wallpapers! Yes, it's time again for "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" ...OH YEAH! This time I thought I would go with an "animation theme", meaning, all the backgrounds are related to "The World of Batman in Animated Form". The 1st one is a great image of BATGIRL from the 90's Batman Animated TV Series. This graphic was made using an original cartoon animation cel so the lines & colors are really sharp. The next image is way more modern. In fact, it's a DC Universe animated film that has not even come out yet. It's the DVD box art for the BATMAN: UNDER THE RED HOOD Movie. ( With the release of every tiny bit of news they feature about that movie it just keeps looking better & better! ). The last background ( Yes, I'm posting 3 of them this week ) is an image from the current BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD TV Cartoon. Besides Batman, you also get the Plastic Man too!! Anyways, hope you like them all, or at least one of them, ha!

This week's new episode of BATMAN: THE BRAVE & THE BOLD will be titled "Long Arm of the Law" & it's main guest character will be Plastic Man. The story will go something like this: Kite Man, comes back for revenge against Plastic Man. With the help of his unstoppable henchmen Rubberneck, he imperils Plastic Man's loved ones and threatens to remove the heroes powers forever. Hmmm, sounds pretty cool!
