Video - Batman 1966 TV Theme ( The Dark Knight Style )

Here's a totally great piece of animation. In fact, it's genius! It's a parody of the opening credits sequence from the 1966 BATMAN TV Show, except all the characters have been replaced with Actors from THE DARK KNIGHT movie: Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Heath Ledger, Michael Caine, Aaron Eckhart, etc... it even has the Tumbler-Style Batmobile at the end, replacing the 1966 Car!

VIDEO: Kevin Conroy Disses Christian Bale at C2E2

The big piece of Batman News over the weekend was C2E2 where Kevin Conroy sort of kinda dissed Christian Bale's Batman Voice ! Yeah, at the Chicago Comic Book Convention event there was a panel of animation voice actors where somebody asked Kevin Conroy ( Batman: The Animated Series TV Cartoon & Batman: Arkham Asylum Video Game ) what he thought about Bale's version of Batman...check it out!!

VIDEO: Hot Toys BATMAN DX 02 FIGURE The Dark Knight Movie Version

Here are some very cool videos showing some of the functions of the BATMAN DX 02 Figure by HOT TOYS. Of course it's the Christian Bale version from THE DARK KNIGHT movie. The doll has a lot of new technologies that are very clever. The 1st video is a demonstration of the Hot Toys-invented PERS ( Parallel Eyeball Rolling System ) function. Basically, the eyeballs move around in his head in a more realistic fashion. It's kinda creepy, but it also makes the figure look really awesome!





The next video shows off what I call the "Change-a-Face" feature. He has Interchangeable "Face Parts" that have different mouths. I guess you can make him happy or angry, ha ha!





Then, there's the "Sonar Eye Light-Up" feature...very cool! You replace an item inside his head that replicates the special "Sonar Cowl" he wore in one part of the movie. The eyes light-up & everything!





OK, whew! here's the final video & it shows how the "Transformable Gun" works. It's just like the movie where it was all compact & then it would transform into that weapon that shot "sticky bomb" charges on that building in Hong Kong. I think they went a little too far with this, ha ha, but it is great that HOT TOYS cares about ALL the small details. They make some really amazing collectible figures!!

BATMAN VIDEO: The Dark Knight vs Blade Movie Trailer (Christian Bale vs Wesley Snipes)

Here's a nice mash-up parody video combining scenes from both The Dark Knight and the Blade movies with Christian Bale & Wesley Snipes. I gotta admit that the editing job on this is very decent. As both a Batman & Blade Vampire Fan it's just kinda cool, & even pretty funny, check it out!

Parody Video : THE DARK KNIGHT + FAMILY GUY = "WHERE'S MY MONEY?!"

A lot of Family Guy Fans will instantly recognize this video's audio sound as being from a famous skit with Stewie & Brian, where Stewie plays a Loan Shark trying to get money owed to him. But the video portion has been replaced with Heath Ledger & Christian Bale as the Joker & Batman from THE DARK KNIGHT Batman film...enjoy!

VIDEO: THE DARK KNIGHT BATMAN & JOKER Art Student Animation Film

Here's a short cartoon animation test done by a few animation film students. It's modeled on "The Dark Knight" movie & takes a few lines from there. It features both Batman & The Joker, the Christian Bale & Heath Ledger versions. I think it's actually pretty good...not too shabby!
