Here are some cool new Bat-Products to keep an eye out for. A Japanese Toy Company called Medicom will release two BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES BEARBRICK Figures. One will be 400% scale ( $99.99 ) and the other will be 1000% ( $399.99 ). We posted a photo here that gives you an idea of their size. The smallest figure in the picture, shown far right-hand side, is the size of the regular Bearbricks Figure. So, you can see how BIG they are. They have a release date of December, 2010, so look for them very soon.

Here at the Bat-Blog we're always trying to cover all the many different aspects of the Batman character but one main focus is on the joys of being a Bat-Collector. We also have a lot of great people who contribute wonderful material. This is a perfect example. Here are some photos sent in by our good friend, the BATFAN. He has a major collection of Batman Phone Cards he wanted to share. This is just a small portion of his full collection but these pics give you a great idea of what is out there ( Click on the pics for larger versions ). Phone Cards are really not that popular in the USA but in many foreign countries they're a VERY BIG deal. Our friend has got these from all over the globe: Brazil, Japan, Argentina, England, Canada, etc... I have always known of these things existing but never knew how many different ones there were. So, it's pretty cool to see these. My personal favorite ones are the "Batman: The Animated Series" Sets & the ones with the 1966 TV Show Actors ( Like Adam West, Julie Newmar, & Yvonne Craig ). The one with Adam West using the Red Bat-Phone is PERFECT! It's also cool to see the ones featuring the 1989 Tim Burton movie. I wanna thank BATFAN for taking the time to take these wonderful reference photos, they're GREAT! Do you have a large collection of a certain niche? Please send us some pics, thanks.
Check out this awesome Bat-Tat!! A good friend to the Bat-Blog, named Gerry, just recently sent us this photo of his special Batman Tattoo. It's a classic scene from "Batman: The Animated Series". I mean, this image is iconic! The Dark knight is standing on top of a building with lighting effects going off in the background...very cool! ( Thanks Gerry )
Here's a very clever BATMAN TATTOO sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named Zachary. He totally loves BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES & to prove it his tattoo shows 3 frames from the Animation Storyboard for the cartoon's opening intro. WOW! That's very original & actually very very cool! He said he got the image from the BATMAN ANIMATED Book by Paul Dini & Chip Kidd. I love that book. It's a great "behind the scenes" look at the making of the TV Show. It came out a few years ago & is a total fan-favorite among many Batman Collectors ( For more info I posted an Amazon link at the bottom of this post ). I wanna thank Zachary for sending in this wonderful photo & also give him props for getting such a unique bat-tat! Remember Readers, if you know anybody who recently got some ink done then please shoot us a photo. Our e-mail button is always on the top right-hand side of this blog.
