NEW BATMAN MERCHANDISE - Retail Store Report

OK, I decided the other day to go hit Wal-Mart & see what kind of Batman items I could find. If you're a Serious Bat-Collector then you know it's been really really dry lately. But that's cool because it allows us time to save a little money for stuff later, ha ha! But anyway, the trip to the famous retail store was kinda lame. The only new things I found were some Kid's T-Shirts ( Most of them have a LEGO BATMAN theme which is pretty cool ) & that's usually not something that I personally buy ( in fact, I didn't ). But, when I got to their "Seasonal Area", they were doing a "Summer Time - July 4th Theme" & they had this extremely awesome BATMAN 5 Foot long BEACH TOWEL! Oh man, the graphics are beautiful and it's the "comic book version" of Batman. The quality is really nice too & the thing is only 10 bucks, can't beat that! But if ya want one you better hurry because it's the very best selling one in the bunch. I mean, don't get stuck with Disney's Little Mermaid, ha! one last thing, if ANY Bat-Blog Fan out there sees ANY new Batman items, no matter what they are, then please let us know so we can share... New Retro-Style BATMAN School Supplies & Wal-Mart Exclusive Action Figures!

Our good friend THE BATFAN went on a wacky Batman shopping spree the other night & found some really great stuff at Wal-Mart. Shown here are some amazing school supplies with Vintage Retro-Style Batman Comic Book graphics! Now before you start to think you're seeing double, one set are some folders & the other ones are spiral notebooks. I thought I would show them both because they're just so beautiful, seriously, I love the artwork on these!! The one on the left is Carmine Infantino & the one on the right is Neal Adams...how cool is that!?! Then I guess he hit the action figure aisle & found this Wal-Mart EXCLUSIVE DC Universe Action Figure Set of the Dynamic Duo, Batman & Robin! I really like these figures & the packaging is pretty awesome. Now, THE BATFAN found a few more items while there ( mainly clothes ) & I'll be posting those pics later so be sure to stay tuned to the Bat-Blog! Also, if any other of YOU readers out there spot any brand-new Bat-Merchandise then please send us some information. The main focus of this site is sharing the love of collecting the Dark Knight. New BATMAN MERCHANDISE Spotted at Retail Stores!

Awesome! Our good friend Batmobilly has a recent report of the retail store action for us! The 1st brand-new Batman Toy shown here is a Target Store Exclusive. It's THE JOKER from the Fisher-Price Imaginext Series. Ya got to admit that $3.99 is a pretty good price. The next item was also spotted at Target. Here are 2 different ACTION LEAGUE Figure Sets. One is Batman with the Batcycle & the other is Batman with Gorilla Grodd. Of course these are the BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD versions...very cool! The last collectible is also an Imaginext Action Figure but it was found at Wal-Mart. It's TWO-FACE & it looks like he comes with a bank vault door, oh yeah! OK, I gotta send out a HUGE Thank You to Batmobilly for sending the wonderful pics, that's great! New BATMAN BATH PRODUCTS & WALL CLOCK In Stores Now!

Last night we were at the evil Wal-Mart to get some household supplies when all of a sudden I discovered these new Batman items! If you hit their "Holiday Cosmetics" area you might be able to find these Batman Bath Products: Batman Toothbrush Holder, Batman Fizz n'Foam Bath Set, Cans of Batman Moldable Foam Soap ( 2 ), & the Large Batman 3-Bath Foam Set! Please excuse my crappy photos, I only had my camera phone with me, but you get the idea! The Large Bath Foam Set ( 2nd photo ) is $9.00 & all the others are $5.00 each. These are usually a pretty good deal, & well liked as children's Christmas gifts, so be sure to get them if you see them. They almost ALWAYS sell-out early! Also, I bet you can also find them at Target stores because they usually have them every year, but I have not checked yet. The next item is something extremely cool that was spotted by our friend Joe! He was at a Walgreens Drug Store where he said he found this Exclusive BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Wall Clock, it's only $9.99. I really love this cartoon so this clock will be a "must have item" for me, ha ha! ( Thank you very much for sending the pic Joe, I appreciate that ). Does BATMAN Wear Boxers or Briefs?

It looks like he wears briefs! Ha ha! Here's a photo I saw over at my favorite 1966 Batman Message Board. It was posted by my buddy Darren & he explained that this is a brand-new product (for Men) that they're selling at Wal-Mart. He said they were only about 7 or 8 bucks, not a bad price! I might have to get a pair. You know, for the ladies. MEOW!!
