A few friends have already told me that they have found the brand-new 2011 BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM BATMOBILE Hot Wheels Car in stores right now! This bat-vehicle looks pretty awesome & in the 1st pic we get to see the Toy Packaging by Mattel. Then, the 2nd photo ( which is a BATMAN WALLPAPER BACKGROUND, click on it ) shows the actual toy itself... beautiful!! Of course this is the Batmobile from the now Super-Classic Video Game. A special thanks goes out to our friend Christopher for shooting these great pictures.

Neal's BATMAN TOYS and ACTION FIGURE Collection Photos!

Here are some wonderful photos sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan named Neal who has some extremelty cool BATMAN items in his Toy Collection. Shown here are just 3 shelves of his stuff & it makes me wonder what other cool stuff he has, ha! But I really like this collection & love how it's all displayed, looks cool! ( Be sure to click on these small pics for larger, more detailed versions ).

There are some 13" Dolls, Misc Action Figures, Hot Wheels Batmobiles, & even some Vintage Toys like the 60's Vinyl Hand Puppet & Ideal Bat-Helmet Mask. Oh yeah, and the last photo should make you drool for days because it mainly features those beautiful MEGO 8" Dolls from the 1970's, plus a few more modern-day Custom Figures. ( Thank you for sharing this Neal, great stuff! ) If any other readers want to share their pics then please send us an email. That offer is always OPEN because the Bat-Blog is all about the joys of Bat-Collecting!!

More BATMAN TOYS and COLLECTIBLES From Around The World!

OK, today I'm on sort of a "foreign kick"! That means I'm focusing on some of the extremely cool Batman Merchandise & Toys made in other countries. But trust me, this stuff is pretty cool to see so you'll like it, ha!

The 1st example is an extremely RARE item. This is a packaged Bat-Ball Toy made in Italy in 1966. This Italian Toy is almost non-existent in the US. It's probably even hard to find over there! I love the vintage-style graphics. Plus, this is one of those toys where the packaging is "everything". I mean, once you open it & there's just that generic rubber ball, then it's no longer a "character item".

The next item is fun because it's Japanese & we all know that some of the coolest Bat-items come from Japan! It's a Video Game Disc for the Sega-Saturn by Aklaim. It's also tied-into the BATMAN FOREVER Movie.

Third, is this BATMOBILE Diecast Toy Car from the UK. It's a Hot Wheels Colour Shifters Car made by Mattel.

Now, the last photos, these are really great! I really love these! This is a complete set of 6 BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES Jelly Glasses from France. I think these might have been for the UK market too. If anybody remembers those Welch's Grape Jelly Glasses we have here in the US then I think these are a little smaller. Now, you might be looking at the photo & saying, "Hey, There's 12 Glasses?!" Yes, this photo shows both the front & back of each glass. The 6 on the left are the "front". The "fronts" have Batman & the "backs" have villains. Well, one of them has the Batmobile, ha, but you get the idea.

OK, I'm hoping somebody who reads this either learned something or at least enjoyed it! What do you think? Do YOU have any wacky Batman "foreign items" you would like to share? If so, then please shoot us a pic, or pics! Remember, the main focus of the Bat-Blog is to share the love & joy of collecting.

Cully's Awesome BATMAN BATMOBILE TOY CAR COLLECTION - Hot Wheels and Corgi

Check out these 2 cool photos of an amazing BATMAN Batmobile Toy Car Collection. No, I'm serious, click on them to see 2 HUGE photos that show a lot of detail, ha! What you will see are large close-up shots of many of the cars owned by our friend Cully. His focus is mostly the Batmobiles made by Corgi Toys and Mattel's Hot Wheels. He has the 1966 George Barris Batmobile, the 70's version, the Jokermobile, Catwoman's Car, the Bat-Boat, Bat-Bike, etc... way too many to list, ha! He also has most, if not all, of the variations of the Monster Jam Batmobile "Monster Truck". I wanna thank Cully for sending in these great pics & sorry it took me so long to finally getting them online, ha! But these photos are wonderful & I appreciate it. I also want to invite all other Bat-Blog Fans to share their pics too.

New 2011 Hot Wheels ARKHAM ASYLUM BATMOBILE CAR By Mattel

The Mattel Toy Company just released some fresh photos of their 2011 Hot Wheels line-up. It looks like we're gonna get a new BATMOBILE! This one looks like the car seen in the ARKHAM ASYLUM Batman Video Game. I think it looks pretty cool & I can't wait to hunt it down!

New Hot Wheels Batmobile Cars - 2010 Mexico Convention Exclusives

Here are some photos sent in by a Bat-Blog Reader who is collecting the Hot Wheels "2010 Mexico Convention" Cars ( Thanks Cam ). Basically, there was an event held in Mexico by Toy Collectors & Mattel sent some of their Designers who brought a ton of Exclusive Promo-Batmobile Cars. Here's a "Brave and The Bold" car with Mexican flag graphics, a VW Drag Bus with a mural painted on the side to create the illusion that the van is actually the 1966 Batmobile ( that one is pretty cool because it's kinda weird ), and, finally, another Chrome '66 Batmobile. It's crazy now how many different variations we have seen. In fact, here's a post we did awhile back with other Mexican Convention Batmobiles... Just click HERE!

New Batman Toys - Hot Wheels 2011 Batmobile Car by Mattel

Here's a picture of Mattel's latest Batman Toy, a "New" 2011 Batmobile. It's sort of like the car in the animated TV Cartoon called "The Batman" & will be a part of the Hot Wheels "Track Stars" series. So, on your future trips to local retail stores, be sure to keep an eye out.

New Batman Toys - 1966 BATMOBILE CARS For 2010 MEXICO HOT WHEELS CONVENTION

Here are a few brand-new items for Batman "Batmobile Collectors" to keep an eye out for. Recently, in Mexico, they had a major Hot Wheels Car Collector Convention. Now the cool thing for this event was that Mattel made a few special cars that were EXCLUSIVE to the show. They made a few new versions of the 1966 George Barris Batmobile. By "versions", I mean, different colors. Shown here are: Red, Blue, White, & even Chrome. Now I'm not sure if they made even more than that but after doing some research these were the only ones I heard about. If anyone knows about another variation then please let us know. Most of these were sold on a "Blisterpack Card" but the "White Batmobile" came inside a bag with a header card. Now, I'm not sure how many of each they made but these are usually very limited.

BATMAN 1966 BATMOBILE CAR Wallpaper Backgrounds

I'm feeling sort of lazy today so I thought I would just post some "Batman Wallpapers" because it's pretty easy to do, ha ha! Actually, I'm very proud of both of these images because they were submitted by 2 Bat-Blog Fans. The 1st one is a photo of a really great 1966 Batmobile Replica Car sitting outside of the recent Big Apple NYC Comic Book Con. It was shot by our good friend BatDave, he was lucky enough to go this year. We have some more amazing pics of this car that we plan to post in the next few days so be sure to keep an eye out for them. The 2nd "Batman Background" is a photo sent in by our buddy Ed. This is an ultra-sharp photo of the 1966 Batmobile Hot Wheels Car ( 1:43 Scale ) made by Mattel. I really love this toy & I think it also makes a very fun wallpaper. Oh yeah, Ed just started a new blog all about "Vintage Toy Collecting" that's pretty cool. It's called "TOYS & STUFF". It has some great photography. Here's a link to check it out, just click HERE!

New HOT WHEELS BATMAN Starter Set TUMBLER BATMOBILE CAR - Custom Motors

A few weeks ago, here at the Bat-Blog, we reported about this brand-new BATMAN TOY but at the time we only had production pics from Mattel. Well, a good friend of this blog, named Paul, just spotted this item in a Wal-Mart retail store & sent us some great photos! The toy that we're talking about is the HOT WHEELS BATMAN STARTER SET by Mattel. It's a part of their CUSTOM MOTORS toy line. This one is the TUMBER BATMOBILE, just like the one from the recent movies. But the thing is, it comes with many different parts where you can snap them on/off to make many different versions. OK, I could see where kids would love playing with this toy & it does sort of promote having an imagination, so that's cool. Now, Paul said you can use parts from other cars in the same series to add even more variations. Plus, this Tumbler Batmobile measures about 4" long so it is bigger than your standard Hot Wheels diecast car...AWESOME! ( Thanks Paul )

New HOT WHEELS BATMOBILE Cars & IMAGINEXT BATMAN Action Figures From Mattel for 2011

OK, Here's some more fresh news from Mattel that was presented at this year's 2010 San Diego Comic Con & I'm sort of reporting on 2 different toy lines here, Hot Wheels & Imaginext Action Figures. The 1st photo shows a few new HOT WHEELS Batmobile cars to keep an eye out for ( But don't start camping out at Toys-R-Us tonight because these won't come out for a while - just stay tuned to the Bat-Blog because you know that when they come out we will be spazzing-out, ha!). It looks like they'll have some interesting new Batmobiles in 2 different series. One is the "Custom Motors" line & the other one is the "Color Shifters". The Custom Motors car is the Tumbler Batmobile from The Dark Knight movie & it looks like you'll be able to customize it like a model kit or something. I don't think I have ever seen this toy line before & it looks pretty interesting. Now the next one is the Color Shifters car & it looks like the Batmobile from the 1989 BATMAN movie, awesome! I've seen these before & they're kinda neat. They have special paint that changes color when you put them in hot water. This one has "flames" on the hood. Now the next major toy line covered here is the IMAGINEXT Action Figures, Vehicles, & Accessories. I know these are made for small children ( which is great ) but I gotta admit that I totally love these! The main 2 things to share here is the Batman figure with his Bat-Boat & Killer Kroc with his Swamp Boat. Plus, if you look at the picture with the Batboat, you'll also see the Riddler with his Riddler Car...awesome!

Look Out For The BATMAN BRAVE AND THE BOLD 2010 Hot Wheels Car!

Just a quick post to let people know that the "Batman: The Brave and The Bold" 2010 Hot Wheels Car is starting to surface in retail stores right now. In fact, my friend Doug sent these pics to me recently ( Thanks Doug! ). So, keep an eye out for it on your next trip to Target, Wal-Mart, etc. I love this car, it's...so...beautiful!

BATMAN THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Batmobile - Hot Wheels Basic 1/64 Scale

YES! Awhile back, here at the Bat-Blog, we got the scoop on the latest Batman Hot Wheels Car but never had a decent picture of it. Until now! Ladies & Gentlemen, I present...the BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD Batmobile by Mattel! It's going to be "regular Basic Hot Wheel size", which is 1:64 scale. It's rumored to hit retail stores around late July 2010 so be sure to keep an eye out for it around then. I totally love this new Batmobile from the animated TV Cartoon series so you know I'm really excited! OK, enough talk, it's time to drool all over the pictures, enjoy!

Hot Wheels 2010 Poster Reveals New Batmobile Car!

OK, this news scoop really belongs to my buddy Eric over at his TOYRIFFIC website. He discovered a brand-new Batman Batmobile Car in a special 2010 Series Hot Wheels Checklist Poster ( click on it for a larger version ) that will be produced by Mattel for their line of toy cars & I could not be more excited! Why? Well, the Die-Cast Car they're gonna make is going to be the TV Cartoon Batmobile from BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD!! Since I mentioned Eric's website, TOYRIFFIC, I gotta say that it's pretty cool & his main focus is really toy collecting in general. But he does cover fun Batman stuff from time to time. Here's a link if ya wanna check it out, just click HERE!

Video - Batman Batmobile Toy Collection

Here's a nice video sent in recently by a Bat-Blog Fan who's main focus is collecting just the Batmobile Toy cars. He just started to collect them & his collection is pretty cool so far. You can see he has a lot of the Action Figure Vehicles, some Corgi Die-Cast Cars, Batman Hot Wheels by Mattel, & a few Misc Toys. REMEMBER: We love to see people's Batman Collections & how you display them so if you have any pictures or video you would like to share then please send them in today. Our e-mail button is always on the top right-hand side of this page, thanks.

Some Brand-New Batman "Hot Wheels" Merchandise Has Been Spotted!

Alright, Here's a news report from our Retail-News Reporter Batmobilly! It looks like he's been hitting a few stores lately. He tells us that at Toys-R-Us he saw the new wave of Hot Wheels Batmobile Cars, the cool 1:50 Scale. As an example the BATMISSLE from the Batman Returns movie is shown. Next is another diecast item from Mattel that even I didn't know existed yet. It's a Monster Jam "Monster Duo" Set. You get the Bat-Truck & a special Hot Wheels Car ( Sort of looks like the Vintage Movie version here ). I really like that car! The last photo is from Wal-Mart & he said he took the pic because getting these DVD movies for only 5 bucks each is a pretty good deal. That is, if you just need 1 of them. Actually they have bundled all 4 of these movies together in one set for around $10. But if you're just missing one of these then $5 is cool. Thanks Batmobilly for the great report! If YOU, the Bat-Blog Reader, see any cool bat-merchandise while you're out cruising the stores then please let us know!

NEW BAT-PRODUCT: Hot Wheels Elite 1966 TV Series Batmobile 1:43 Scale

Here's a very cool ( totally brand-new ) Batman Toy that you need to keep your eyes peeled for. Mattel has finally released the HOT WHEELS ELITE 1966 TV Series Batmobile Car in 1:43 Scale. Now, the "Elite version" means that it is hyper-realistic in it's detailing, like every tiny little detail imaginable. I mean, the Bat-Phone's Receiver has a little spiral-cord, ha ha! The next thing would be it's size. OK, if you remember the Classic Corgi Batmobiles from the 1960's & 70's then this car is approx. the same size as that. It measures about 5 1/4" long & 2" wide. One last thing, it's going to be limited to 10,000 pieces & it comes with a Special Display Stand Base. Plus, I have not hit retail stores recently so I'm not quite sure what the actual retail price is, sorry. Please stay tuned for more details.

New BATMAN HOT WHEELS Vehicles & Batmobile Cars For 2010!!

For the last year or so I have been totally & completely loving the incredible 1:50 Scale Die-Cast Batman Vehicles & Batmobiles that Mattel has been coming out with. Here are some photos from the Official Hot Wheels Collector website of a few cars to keep an eye out for in 2010. The 1st photo is probably the weirdest one, but it's also a Classic Car that many Bat-Fans are gonna really love. It's the "Penguinmobile" from the 1966 TV Show! The next one, of course, is the Batcycle from the 1997 movie. In fact, all the rest shown are from various Batman movies. The 3rd one is the famous Bat-Missile from 1992's "Batman Returns". The 4th one is the "Cocoon Batmobile" from 1989. The 5th Car is from 1997's "Batman & Robin" & then there is the one from "Batman Forever". The last pic shows the Bat-Boat!!
