Here's a quick post to share a nice photo sent in by a Bat-Blog Fan from Italy. This is Ivan & here is a Batman T-Shirt that he just bought in an Italian Store. Yes, BATMAN is popular enough in Italy that they actually market products there... and that is so AWESOME! I also think it's cool that the graphics look very retro-style. Check out the Bat-Logo, just like the comic books from the 1970's & 80's. I wanna thank Ivan for sharing his pic. Plus, if any other readers from outside the US come across ANY brand-new pieces of bat-merchandise then please let us know.
Hubba Hubba! A friend of ours on Facebook told us about a new website that I knew I had to check out. You know, for Batman History "research". It's a Tumbler page titled "HOT CHICKS IN BATMAN T-SHIRTS". It's loaded with nothing but pretty girls wearing Batman T-Shirts, heck yeah! Here's a link to check it out, just click HERE! Oh, by the way, I'm bringing back the phrase, "Hubba Hubba!"...Ha Ha!
A friend sent me this picture the other day of a brand-new BATMAN LEGO T-Shirt & it totally cracks me up!! It features a graphic of the iconic moment when Bane broke Batman's back, but the image is done with Lego Toy Figures, ha ha! As we all know, this was part of the KNIGHTFALL storyline that was popular in the Batman comic books around the Spring & Summer of 1993. Remember, the sound of a back breaking is "KRAKT!!"
Hey, Check it out! It's our good buddy Desmond & he's the coolest kid in the whole wide world! Why? Because ...HE IS BATMAN!! See, here's the photographic proof, ha ha! Actually, Desmond's parents just bought him this extremely awesome "Batman Costume" T-Shirt at Target & they wanted to share this information with other Bat-Blog Fans, especially parents with small children. So, thanks Desmond...your bat-shirt is GREAT!! Now that I think about it, this would be sort of cool for Halloween. Thanks for sending us the cool pic.
Here at the Bat-Blog we love to get Vintage Family Photos from readers that show actual Vintage Batman Products. I mean, it's really neat to see these special moments of bat-history. This photo was sent in by our friend David. It's from the early to mid 70's & shows him wearing a great Batman T-Shirt! Looking in my bat-files, I was able to find the original art of this shirt's graphics ( shown in the upper right-hand corner ). Thanks to David for allowing us to post this wonderful pic, it's really cool!!

OK, here's some Batman news that's kinda strange. I really like ART and every now & then I'll check out a few Art Galleries or Art-Related Websites online to enjoy looking at some drawings, paintings, or just what's going on in the Art World. The other night I was reading the JUXTAPOZ Magazine website. They cover the "underground art scene" & have some really interesting stuff sometimes. Their main focus is what some call "Outsider Art". It's artwork that is outside the main stream. Bouncing around the site I came across this awesome Joker-inspired T-Shirt that they have on their STORE page. It's called "The Villain" & was designed by the Artist Anthony Lister. Looking at it, it's obviously the Joker, ha ha! Anyways, I knew some Bat-Blog Readers would really like it so that's the reason for the post. For more info, here's a link to check it out, click HERE!
The other night I was kinda bored & decided to check out what kind of new Batman Merchandise there was out there. My main focus was some kind of cool T-Shirt or other clothing. One website that I totally love to buy from is called SUPERHERO STUFF. They have great service & an awesome variety. While there I saw they had a bunch of brand-new T-Shirts & here's the one I think I'm going to buy. It has a graphic on the front of a Silver-Age Comic Book Cover that features artwork by Carmine Infantino. Actually, it's Detective Comics # 380. I don't know, I think it's pretty cool. What do you think? Oh, if you're wondering where their website is I placed a link down below, check it out sometime.

HA HA HA HA HA! The 1st photo is one I randomly found on the Internet. It's of a mother who dressed-up like the Joker to take her small son out for his birthday. It looks like they are using public transportation. He's wearing a kid's costume of our favorite Caped Crusader, BATMAN! I thought it was kinda sweet that a Mother would do that. Speaking of buses. The next image is a funny new Humor T-Shirt featuring Batman, in Gotham City, using a bus to get around. Maybe his Batmobile was in the garage? ( Yes, we'll be here all week folks, har har! ) The next pic is the best one, so that's why I saved it for last! Remember our "Draw Batman's Face" Art Challenge? Well, this one was sent in recently by our friend Aaron. He made Pokemon into the Dark Knight and it's awesome!! Seriously, I cracked-up when I first saw it, totally unexpected! ( Thanks Aaron, great drawing & the coloring is nice too ). Now, if you guys come across some funny Batman-related Humor then please let us know, thanks!
Shown here is our favorite little buddy Desmond ( The Littlest Batfan ) sporting a brand-new Batman T-Shirt his parents found at Target! I really love this T-Shirt & even though I don't have a kid, I might buy one just because it's so cool! This one has graphics from the very 1st Issue of the Batman Comic Book. Yes, Batman #1! It's an extremely classic image, very iconic, & I like how they did it. The blue background looks really great with the other colors, a nice choice ( the original 1939 comic book had a yellow background ). Plus, isn't Desmond the sweetest little boy you have ever seen? I think so & I wanna thank him for making his parents send this cool pic!

You might remember awhile back we featured an adorable photo of a super-cute baby boy named Desmond, wearing a special Batman Toddler T-Shirt. Well, he's growing-up like crazy & here's a more recent photo. Look at him, he is sooooo CUTE! Plus, I love the great smile on his face too. I guess being a Batman Fan makes him happy, ha ha! His parents, Seth and Melissa, wrote this wonderful letter with their e-mail:
"Just wanted to share the great new Baby T-Shirts that we just found at Target. They finally came out with Batman shirts!!! Desmond , now 4 months old, was featured on the Bat-Blog in May in his only Batman shirt...but now he has two more and Daddy couldn't be more proud! So Desmond ( the Littlest Bat Fan ) wanted to model this fall's Baby Batman Line from Target :) Thanks for the Bat-Blog...We all luv it!!!"
Wow! Thanks Guys. Desmond is getting way bigger & I seriously love these pics, thank you. Also, thanks for all the kind words about this blog, I appreciate that. Please keep us updated to how Desmond is doing. Now, Y'all HAVE to get him a Bat-Cape to go with his outfit, ha ha!
